FAQ

What are lash extensions?

Lash extensions are synthetic fibers individually attached to each natural eyelash using a special adhesive. They are designed to enhance the length, and/or thickness, and curl of natural lashes, providing a fuller and more dramatic look.

How long do lash extensions last?

Lash extensions can last up to 4-6 weeks, depending on growth cycle and proper maintenance. Fills are recommended every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain the fullness and appearance of the lashes.

Can lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

When applied by a trained and experienced lash technician using high-quality products, lash extensions are generally safe. However, it's essential to follow proper aftercare instructions and avoid rubbing or pulling on the lashes to prevent damage to the natural lashes.

Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?

It's generally not recommended to use mascara with lash extensions as it can cause clumping, premature shedding of the extensions, and difficulty in removing the mascara without damaging the lashes. However, there are specially formulated mascaras that are safe for use with lash extensions if desired.

How do I care for my lash extensions?

Proper maintenance is essential for prolonging the life of lash extensions. This includes avoiding oil-based skincare products, gently cleansing the lashes with a designated lash cleanser, avoiding rubbing or pulling on the lashes, and refraining from using waterproof makeup products around the eyes.

Can I swim or shower with lash extensions?

It's generally recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to water, such as swimming or showering, for the first 24 hours after getting lash extensions to allow the adhesive to fully cure. After this initial period, it's safe to swim and shower, but it's essential to avoid rubbing or pulling on the lashes.

How long does it take to apply lash extensions?

The application process typically takes between 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the desired lash look and the skill level of the lash technician. Fill appointments generally take less time, around 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the amount of lash shedding and the desired fullness.

How do I remove lash extensions?

Lash extensions should be professionally removed by a trained lash technician using a specialized adhesive remover to avoid damaging the natural lashes. Attempting to remove lash extensions at home can result in damage or breakage of the natural lashes.
